Job summary

Life.Church seeks a Media Relations Manager to share stories of the God-inspired work across the YouVersion Family of Bible Apps, coordinating global press efforts and evaluating impact. You will coach international PR contractors, prep spokespersons for interviews, and craft thoughtful messaging on sensitive topics while maximizing coverage worldwide.

The role sits within the Public Relations Team of Life.Church Communications Group and supports outreach that furthers the church's mission.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to foster relationships and partnerships.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills.
• Demonstrated track record of effective media relations strategies.
• Experience coaching and developing others in a global PR network.
• Comfortable working across time zones and with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategic direction of global press efforts and develop editorial collaborations.
• Coach and support a network of international PR contractors on press strategy execution.
• Prep global spokespersons for interview opportunities and craft messaging on sensitive topics.
• Regularly evaluate projects and identify ways to improve future efforts.
• Lead proactive and reactive press execution, drafting materials and coordinating logistics across regions.
