Primary Duties and

Responsibilities:

The MDS 1450 Adjunct Instructor will teach a section or more of MDS 1450, a course that serves as an introduction to photo, video and audio production using the Adobe suite (premiere, audition and photoshop).

Job functions:

  • Teach up to 9 credit hours per semester.
  • Create syllabus and timeline of classes, for students per semester.
  • Provide meeting time for students.
  • Manage online grading system.
  • Submit book orders, if textbooks required.
  • Abide by all relevant university and/or departmental procedures and policies.

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.


Required Education College degree in media production or related field required.

Required Experience No teaching experience required, though 1 or more year preferred. Minimum 3 years professional experience in media production required. Content creation experience and expert usage of Adobe premiere, audition, and photoshop.

The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
