Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in production, postproduction, broadcast, or communications.
• Fluency in English & Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast media management and post-production workflows.
• Experience with AVID environments (Media Composer, Interplay, Media Central Cloud UX).
• Understanding of cloud and on-premise media workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute ingest, transcoding, transfer, QC, archive, restoration, export, and distribution workflows across broadcast, post-production, and cloud environments.
• Manage media within MAM, AVID, Cloud systems, archive, and shared-storage ensuring assets are accessible and deadline-driven.
• Perform thorough technical and visual QC of media including video, audio, timecode, resolution, and metadata.
• Validate metadata, naming conventions, folder structures, and delivery specs for accuracy.
• Monitor media storage, availability, retention, archive, and restoration activities.
• Troubleshoot failed/incomplete workflows and perform first-level corrective actions.
• Analyze workflow failures and escalate to Engineering/Media Systems when needed.
• Support time-sensitive media for live events, sports, streaming, broadcast, and production.
• Maintain operational documentation and communicate status and risks clearly to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve media-management processes and workflow reliability.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
