Job summary

Anuvu in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Metadata Specialist to support airline metadata across OEM systems. You will document processes, track milestones, manage high-priority metadata, and ensure quality and on-time delivery to clients.

The role involves regular meetings with the metadata and account teams, owning QA documentation, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Hybrid work with travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years data-entry/CMS experience preferred.
  • Inflight industry experience is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work across time zones with global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert for airline metadata across OEM systems.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and check-ins with the Metadata Team.
  • Create and maintain process documentation for airline-specific nuances.
  • Develop and manage QC checklists to ensure metadata accuracy.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to prevent errors.
  • Own high-priority metadata updates (e.g., Safety Videos, PRAMs).
  • Monitor encodes and ensure timely content updates.
  • Investigate and resolve issues from OEM rack tests with stakeholders.
  • Track milestones and manage deadlines across teams.
  • Train and develop metadata team members.

Role Summary

TheMetadata Specialistprovides avital role in supportingAnuvu’sairline metadata teamacross our customer accounts.Asthe airline metadata expert,you willdocumentprocesses,trackprogress againstkey milestones,managehigh-priority metadata,and ensurebothquality and on-time delivery toclients.

This role involves regular meetings—primarily with the metadata team, but also with the broader account team—to provide status updates,identifyand address blockers, and ensure compliance with process improvements asrequired . You will take ownership of quality control documentation, ensuring all necessary tasks are signed off during each client media cycle. Additionally, you willbe responsible forissue resolution and prevention, ensuring all corrections are implemented and root cause analysis is conducted. Building strong relationships, you will foster collaboration and trust with both the airline team and external stakeholders/partners.

WhatYou’llBe Doing
  • Act as the subject matter expert for airline metadata across all OEM systems, offering support to the metadata team and Service Manager
  • Facilitateregular meetings and check-inswiththeMetadataTeam
  • Create andmaintainprocess documentation, capturing airline-specific system nuances, client preferences, and any other relevant information
  • Develop, refine, and manage QC checklists to ensure metadata accuracy and compliance before final sign-off
  • Continuous process improvement – suggesting and implementing new processes to avoid errors or streamline metadata production
  • Ownership of key NLC / high priority metadata updates (i.e. Safety Videos / PRAMs / key advertisements or airline marketing videos)
  • Monitor encodes and ensure timely execution of content updates throughout the cycle
  • Investigate and resolve issues identified in OEM rack tests, collaborating closely with OEM partners and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor key cycle milestones andmaintaincalendar of deadlines, proactively follow up with internal stakeholders, provide updates duringSteerComeetings, and flag any issues or delays to the schedule
  • Assist with the information flow into the metadata team
  • Assist the Service Manager with file tracking and issue reporting, ensuring thetimelyresolution of missing or failed files and implementing any necessary metadata updates
  • Maintain error log – ensuring all corrections are actioned and any issues are resolved as soon as possible
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and draft incident reports for onboard metadata errors
  • Training and developing the skills of the team
  • Quality & ownership: Take accountability for delivering accurate, high-quality metadata and see issues through to resolution.
  • Proactive delivery: Manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively, identifying and escalating risks before they impact delivery.
  • Problem solving & improvement: Identify root causes, implement practical solutions and continuously look for ways to improve processes and quality.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Build trusted relationships and communicate clearly with internal teams, clients and OEM partners across global locations.
  • Expertise & team development: Build strong knowledge of airline and OEM requirements, sharing expertise and supporting the development of the wider Metadata team.
