Role Summary

The Metadata Specialist provides a vital role in supporting Anuvu’s airline metadata team across our customer accounts. As the airline metadata expert, you will document processes, track progress against key milestones, manage high-priority metadata, and ensure both quality and on-time delivery to clients.

This role involves regular meetings—primarily with the metadata team, but also with the broader account team—to provide status updates, identify and address blockers, and ensure compliance with process improvements as required. You will take ownership of quality control documentation, ensuring all necessary tasks are signed off during each client media cycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for issue resolution and prevention, ensuring all corrections are implemented and root cause analysis is conducted. Building strong relationships, you will foster collaboration and trust with both the airline team and external stakeholders/partners.

Location: Atlanta, United States

Remote Options: Hybrid with regular travel required to client

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Act as the subject matter expert for airline metadata across all OEM systems, offering support to the metadata team and Service Manager
  • Facilitate regular meetings and check-ins with the Metadata Team
  • Create and maintain process documentation, capturing airline-specific system nuances, client preferences, and any other relevant information
  • Develop, refine, and manage QC checklists to ensure metadata accuracy and compliance before final sign-off
  • Continuous process improvement – suggesting and implementing new processes to avoid errors or streamline metadata production
  • Ownership of key NLC / high priority metadata updates (i.e. Safety Videos / PRAMs / key advertisements or airline marketing videos)
  • Monitor encodes and ensure timely execution of content updates throughout the cycle
  • Investigate and resolve issues identified in OEM rack tests, collaborating closely with OEM partners and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor key cycle milestones and maintain calendar of deadlines, proactively follow up with internal stakeholders, provide updates during SteerCo meetings, and flag any issues or delays to the schedule
  • Assist with the information flow into the metadata team
  • Assist the Service Manager with file tracking and issue reporting, ensuring the timely resolution of missing or failed files and implementing any necessary metadata updates
  • Maintain error log – ensuring all corrections are actioned and any issues are resolved as soon as possible
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and draft incident reports for onboard metadata errors
  • Training and developing the skills of the team
Expectations
  • Quality & ownership: Take accountability for delivering accurate, high-quality metadata and see issues through to resolution.
  • Proactive delivery: Manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively, identifying and escalating risks before they impact delivery.
  • Problem solving & improvement: Identify root causes, implement practical solutions and continuously look for ways to improve processes and quality.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Build trusted relationships and communicate clearly with internal teams, clients and OEM partners across global locations.
  • Expertise & team development: Build strong knowledge of airline and OEM requirements, sharing expertise and supporting the development of the wider Metadata team.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1-3 years data-entry/CMS experience, or similar applicable data experience preferred
  • Inflight industry experience is an added advantage but not essential
  • Extreme versatility, adaptability and ability to function in high-paced environments
  • Ability to work with other global regions / cultures within different timezones
This Might Be the Right Place if You…
  • Are a team fit; can help advance our global, inclusive culture
  • Are self-starter who likes to roll up your sleeves and take initiative with minimal direction
  • Can think about tomorrow, while getting your work done today
  • Are a collaborative teamplayer; primary audience will be internal teams
  • Are curious and open to learning and finding new solutions
  • Are able to provide and accept feedback in a constructive manner
