Job summary

Rensa Filtration is seeking a Media Machine Operator I for its Aurora, IL facility to run and monitor media production equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will support startup, troubleshooting, and process improvements while collaborating with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, and the ability to travel internationally for extended training up to 3 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn complex equipment and processes.
• Willingness and ability to work a 24/7 rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended training (up to 3 months)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and process monitoring.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor media production equipment to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation.
• Perform startup, shutdown, and changeover activities for production lines.
• Monitor product quality and work closely with quality personnel to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating when needed.
• Support new product introductions and process adjustments.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist maintenance teams during repairs.
• Conduct initial quality checks and inspections during production.
• Handle materials, labeling, packaging, and internal logistics as required.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
