Job summary

Rensa Filtration is seeking a Media Machine Operator II to operate, set up, monitor, and troubleshoot media production equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment in Aurora, IL. The role requires experience with machine operation, setup/changeovers, and quality checks to ensure safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of manufacturing or production experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Experience with setups, changeovers, adjustments, and routine troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret instructions.
• Experience with in-process quality inspections and following quality specs.
• Ability to work 24/7 rotating schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Willingness to travel internationally for training (extended).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use forklift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and monitor media production equipment.
• Perform setup, startup, shutdown, and product changeovers.
• Monitor performance and make routine adjustments for production requirements.
• Conduct in-process quality checks to verify specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment, process, and quality issues.
• Support training of newer operators and collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance.
• Maintain records of production, quality, downtime, and processes.
• Assist with safety, quality, efficiency improvements and uptime initiatives.
• Work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 rotating schedule.
