Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners in New York seeks an experienced Associate to join its M&A team. You will be directly involved in design, origination, structuring, and execution of transactions, and provide critical input on pitch materials to enhance client deliverables.

Candidates should have a minimum of six years in investment banking or an MBA with current Associate standing, strong financial modeling and communication skills. This role requires US work authorization; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA considered for Associate level
• Minimum of 6 years in investment banking, corporate finance, and M&A
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and handle confidential information
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A advisory activities across deals in the New York market
• Oversee valuation analyses and financial models; mentor junior team members
• Draft pitch books, memoranda, and client materials; lead due diligence sessions
• Manage client communications and relationships with senior bankers
