Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners seeks an experienced Associate to join its New York M&A team. You will lead design, origination, structuring, and execution of transactions, providing input on pitch materials to enhance client deliverables.

Required are 6+ years in investment banking or related fields, strong financial analysis skills, and proficiency with leading analytics tools. This role offers a high-impact environment with a clear promotion path and substantial base salary plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of investment banking/corporate finance/M&A experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, securities, markets, and risk/pricing analysis
• MBA in Finance with Associate status is a plus
• Experience with buy-side/sell-side and strategic advisory mandates

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A advisory activities across the business services sector through all deal phases
• Oversee valuation analyses and financial models with Analysts/Associates
• Lead drafting sessions, due diligence, and client conversations
• Manage client communications and relationships with senior bankers
• Identify data trends and articulate impact to stakeholders
• Mentor Analysts and Associates on active transactions
• Develop and prepare client presentations and materials
