Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Specialist in Lubbock, TX to drive advertising revenue by forging relationships with new clients and presenting targeted solutions across broadcast and digital media.

You will design campaigns across TV, digital, and OTT platforms, educate clients on advertising options, and work to meet revenue goals while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, mass communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media.
• Elevated level of professionalism with strong follow through and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; goal oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment or independently.
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Establishes credible relationships with the local business community.
• Makes sales calls on prospective clients and develops new accounts.
• Educates clients on advertising solutions to promote products or services.
• Builds marketing campaigns using broadcast TV, SEO, SEM, Display, Social, and OTT.
• Delivers customized proposals and ads based on client needs and goals.
• Strives to meet and exceed personal and team revenue targets.
• Provides excellent customer service to existing accounts.
