Job summary

Digitas North America in Boston is seeking an Associate Director, Media Finance to lead the finance partner function for media capabilities and clients. You will guide a high-performing team, deliver exceptional client work, and advise stakeholders with confidence and accountability.

You will build strong relationships, mentor staff, and drive process improvements while navigating a dynamic media landscape.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree required.
• 6–8 years of experience in online media planning/buying/operations or finance-driven role at a creative agency.
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships in an agency setting.
• Strong knowledge of online media planning, ad-serving tools, media billing reconciliation, negotiation, and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and MediaOcean Prisma/MBOX is essential.

Responsibilities

• Represent client portfolio to Finance and agency leadership with performance updates and risks.
• Coach team members to ensure high-quality work and adherence to standards.
• Establish workflow between Media, Media Finance, Accounts Payable and Client Finance.
• Ensure audit compliance and prompt billing reconciliation.
• Manage media teams to deadlines and provide process structure for junior staff.
• File and update campaign financial documents per compliance rules.
• Foster cross-department communication and support strategic initiatives.
• Mentor direct reports with performance reviews and career guidance.
