Job summary

University of West Georgia in Carrollton seeks a Student Assistant to support the Equipment Checkout Pool within the School of Communication, Film, & Media. This part-time, temporary role is ideal for motivated students who enjoy media projects and teamwork.

Responsibilities include friendly customer service, checking in/out equipment, inventory control, and assisting with video/audio production tasks. Availability during specified checkout hours is required.

Qualifications

Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average.
Must be available during Equipment Pool checkout hours: Monday & Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Additional hours may be assigned by the Equipment Pool Manager based on need

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service with a professional demeanor to all faculty, staff, and students.
Assist with the check-in and check-out of video and audio equipment, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
Troubleshoot delinquent transactions and enforce equipment policies and procedures.
Help manage and maintain the inventory of media equipment and technology.
Support faculty, staff, and students on media projects using video and audio production skills.
