Job summary

University of West Georgia in Carrollton seeks a Student Assistant to support the Equipment Checkout Pool within the School of Communication, Film, & Media. This part-time, temporary role is ideal for motivated students who enjoy media projects and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average.
  • Must be available during Equipment Pool checkout hours: Monday & Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Additional hours may be assigned by the Equipment Pool Manager based on need

  • Assist with the check-in and check-out of video and audio equipment, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
  • Troubleshoot delinquent transactions and enforce equipment policies and procedures.

  • Support faculty, staff, and students on media projects using video and audio production skills.

Job Summary

The School of Communication, Film, & Media is seeking motivated and reliable Student Assistants to support operations within the Equipment Checkout Pool and other areas within SCFM. This role is ideal for students with a passion for media production and a commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities
