Campbell High School is seeking a paraprofessional to support the Media Center and Media Specialist in achieving program goals. The role involves assisting students and staff, maintaining the circulation system, and helping with media resources and displays.

The position requires good communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Certification through the Georgia Paraprofessional program is required.

Formación

• Must maintain a Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate including in-service training for the position.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to operate basic media center equipment and systems.
• Capable of routine physical activity including lifting up to 60 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Operates and assists with the computerized circulation system.
• Assists students and staff with locating media center resources and using the catalog.
• Assists with instructional equipment and media displays.
• Manages student assistants and media center volunteer program.
• Maintains periodical collections and processes media resources for circulation.
• Prepares correspondence, purchase orders, and reports as directed.
