Edina Public Schools is seeking a Media Assistant to support the district's media program by assisting students and staff with media tasks. This role operates in the school media centers, handling collection management and related tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
The position is a 9-month, non-exempt role with a 7.5-hour workday, located at Creek Valley Elementary School. A high school diploma and a Minnesota driver’s license are required, with mobility between sites as needed.

With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision and core values, the Media Assistant supports the media program team by providing media-related assistance to students and staff. The Media Assistant works in school media centers to provide operational support primarily in collection management.
Salary Range: The wage for this position ranges from $23.66 to $29.84 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry-level rate of $23.66 per hour. However, experienced candidates with prior work experience in a related field may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $26.19 per hour. These decisions will be made on a case‑by‑case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget.
