Apple is seeking a talented media monitoring and intelligence analyst to support the U.S. corporate communications operation in a fast-moving news environment. This is a unique opportunity for someone to help track and assess news from around the world of interest to Apple, and to evaluate media coverage across Apple’s business.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in and passion for international news and current affairs, including business, technology and politics. This might include roles as a journalist, PR specialist or researcher.Excellent news judgment and an ability to identify issues that could affect Apple’s business. Very high standard of written communications, with an aptitude for distilling complex information quickly and accurately under pressure. Familiarity with AP style a plus.Driven and highly motivated individual. The role will involve taking responsibility for delivering high-quality reports, often on tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to focus, simplify tasks, and manage multiple projects and programs from start to finish under pressure.Deep understanding of topics relevant to Apple’s core values, such as privacy, accessibility and the environment.Good understanding of all forms of news and communication channels, including the latest social and online platforms.Effective collaborator who will work cross-functionally across teams and geographies while demonstrating integrity at all times.Higher education preferred. Journalism experience or qualification desirable.A second language is strongly preferred.
