Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role involves joining a team of medical experts to safely transport patients, maintain aircraft readiness, and comply with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.

The position includes a 7/7 schedule and a competitive salary with a 30% Geo Modifier. In addition to the base salary, there is a $15,000 sign-on bonus, a $5,000 IFR stipend, and retention bonus plans.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in the appropriate manuals, including FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
