Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for its customers. The role emphasizes safety as a core pillar and requires rotorcraft expertise and regulatory compliance.

This full-time position includes a 7/7 schedule and a competitive salary with incentive bonuses. Responsibilities include transporting patients with a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness, maintaining regulatory documentation, and coordinating with dispatch and flight crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating and FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Total flight hours meet minimums for rotorcraft operations.
• Night flight experience desirable; turbine hours preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical experts to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and Med-Trans rules.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Trans requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
