Job summary

Med-Trans, a Global Medical Response company, is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role focuses on safety, aircraft readiness, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for bonus and home time.

Responsibilities include coordinating with dispatch and flight crews, maintaining thorough records, and ensuring ongoing training and certifications are kept current.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours required.
• 1,500 helicopter hours required.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours required.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours required.
• 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, including FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
