Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely move patients and maintain aircraft readiness in accordance with FAR and company procedures.

Requirements include 2000 total flight hours, rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, and medical certificate. The role offers a strong base salary of $109,174–$117,791 with a 23% geographic modifier, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and a on-duty housing

Qualifications

• Rotorcraft commercial certificate held and current.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate current.
• Total flight hours at least 2000; helicopter hours 1500; PIC 1000.
• Turbine helicopter hours 500; 200 night hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change info to next pilot following recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
