Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital in Florida is seeking an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager for the Med Tele Unit to oversee nursing practice and unit operations. The role shares leadership with Nursing Operations Manager, guiding customer experience, budgets, staffing and quality outcomes.

You will participate in recruitment, schedule oversight, patient flow, leader rounds and process improvement while maintaining patient privacy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Nursing Degree (BSN) required.
• BSN with graduate degree in business or health-related field preferred.
• Masters in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
• Two years of RN experience in an acute setting required.
• Current Florida RN license (or NLC) required.

Responsibilities

• Shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager.
• Participates in recruitment and selection of new team members.
• Oversees schedules to ensure proper staffing for patient care.
• Leads staff meetings and huddles; promotes unit outcomes.
• Performs direct patient care as needed.
• Maintains compliance with policies and patient privacy.
