Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Raleigh, NC seeks a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, delivering consistent resident care while mentoring the caregiving team.

You will lead assignments, provide hands-on ADL support, coach staff on quality and documentation, review ISP-aligned charting, and monitor resident changes with proactive communication. Onboarding and mentorship of new team members are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP (Individualized Service Plans).
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.

Pay Range:

15.20 - 19.05
