Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, ensuring exceptional resident care while coaching the caregiving team. You will coordinate coverage, supervise staff, and uphold program standards.

You will perform hands-on ADL support, review charting and ISP alignment, mentor new teammates, and promote safety and compliance. A High School Diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
