Job summary

Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, SC seeks a dedicated Medication Technician to join our clinical team. You will administer medications and treatments according to orders, monitor resident wellness, and support direct care staff with safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Medication Technician certification/Registration (or eligible).
• CPR and First Aid certifications current or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year of Med Tech or caregiver experience in senior living settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and state rules.
• Monitor resident wellness, vital signs, and medication responses; report changes promptly.
• Maintain organized medication carts, counts, and coordinate pharmacy reorders.
• Assist residents with ADLs and respond to call lights and emergencies.
• Document accurately in the EHR and complete shift handovers.
