Job summary

Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, SC is seeking a detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our clinical team. You will administer medications per physician orders, monitor resident wellness, and support direct care staff with safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• Active SC Medication Technician certification or eligibility to administer meds in a licensed facility.
• Experience as Med Tech or caregiver in senior living settings preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and documentation per physician orders and policy.
• Monitor resident health trends and report changes to supervising staff.
• Maintain medication carts, counts, and coordinate pharmacy reorders.
• Assist with ADLs and respond to call lights and emergencies.
• Document in EHR and complete shift handover reports.
