Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Durham, NC is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support for residents. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, medication observation, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment under supervision.

The position requires a CNA certification (preferred), a high school diploma/GED, and a commitment to high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old; CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and support to residents during shifts.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly to supervisors.
• Serve meals and assist with nutrition; maintain cleanliness of rooms and community areas.
• Assist with medication observation and documentation under nurse supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety; follow all policies and procedures.
