Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with a focus on dignity and safety. You will follow physician orders, use the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and document in MAR/TAR in real time as you monitor residents during and after passes.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, be 18+, hold CPR/First Aid certification, and demonstrate strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and age 18+ required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills expected.
• Preferred experience in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Follow physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes; monitor symptoms.
• Report concerns promptly to appropriate staff.
• Maintain organized medication carts and follow infection control standards.
• Complete narcotic counts as required.
