Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with accuracy and dignity. The role requires following physician orders, observing residents during and after passes, and maintaining precise MAR/TAR documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold a Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and have strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in senior care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow Six Rights of Medication Administration and document accurately in MAR/TAR systems.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes and monitor symptoms.
• Maintain narcotic counts and secure medication carts/rooms.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to prevent errors and ensure resident safety.
