Sunrise Senior Living in Fairfax, VA is seeking a part-time Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely and with dignity. You will administer medications per orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during passes, and maintain infection control standards in a busy senior care setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, medication administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation and communication skills; senior care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Age 18+ requirement.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
