Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in McLean, VA is seeking a part-time Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely and with dignity. You will administer meds, follow physician orders, and document in MAR/TAR in real time.

Qualifications include a Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and a high school diploma. Prior senior care experience is preferred, and strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
