Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with accuracy, safety, and dignity. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time and monitor residents during and after passes, ensuring compliance with Six Rights and infection control standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medication Administration certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
