Job summary

Meadow Lane Assisted Living & Memory Care is hiring a Medication Aide to provide comfort, safety and supervision for residents while administering medications and meeting daily care needs. You will learn residents’ preferences and work with the care team to follow service plans.

Required is a high school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days). Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to document care and medications accurately.
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration.
• Update eMAR with new physician orders for accuracy.
• Assist residents with daily living activities per care plans.
• Respond to call lights and alarms promptly.
• Observe changes and report to Care Coordinator and Director.
• Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and spaces.
• Record weights and vitals as required.
• Participate in training new employees.
