Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer meds per orders, follow the Six Rights, and document in MAR/TAR in real time while observing residents for changes.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED, medication administration certification, and CPR/First Aid. Senior care experience is preferred; opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication administration certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or eligible.
• Strong documentation and communication skills essential.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
