Job summary

Victory Housing is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to administer medications to residents in a safe, organized manner. You will assist with medications, document medication assistance, and support resident care while communicating effectively with residents, families and the care team.

The role requires vigilance, adherence to procedures, and teamwork with the Nursing staff to ensure timely medication delivery and accurate charting in EMAR.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with residents, families, and team.
• Ability to observe and report changes in health or behavior.
• Experience with medication assistance and EMAR (electronic med administration record) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and document in EMR.
• Prepare medications with correct drug, resident, route, dosage, time, and charting.
• Maintain medication cart and follow universal precautions.
• Assist with resident care and respond to health concerns.
• Ensure safety and infection control in Wellness Center.
