Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass medication observations annually and cart audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures related to the position.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in EMAR/MAR daily log.
• Pass all medication administration observations.
• Communicate resident status and updates to HCD, RN/LPN, or ED.
• Re-orders medications and coordinate with pharmacy as needed.
