The position emphasizes accuracy, compassionate communication, and teamwork with nurses and other clinicians in a post-acute, long-term care setting. Completion of required coursework and Nebraska certifications is essential.

Qualifications

• Active CN A certification in Nebraska.
• Medication Aide certification in Nebraska.
• Experience as Med Tech/CNA/Nurse Tech in a care setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail in medication administration and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications within scope and Hillcrest policies.
• Follow medication procedures accurately.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nurse promptly.
• Support nurses and clinical team for safe, consistent care.
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, hygiene.
• Assist with meals and keep dining area comfortable.
• Document care accurately in the electronic system.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation per care plans.
