Job summary

Hillcrest Millard in Omaha, NE is seeking a Nurse Tech / Med Tech to support our clinical team. This role primarily functions as a Med Tech with responsibilities in medication administration, vital signs, and personal care, while CNA and Medication Aide credentials are required.

The successful candidate will work closely with nurses, document care in the electronic system, and respond promptly to call lights, ensuring resident safety and comfort in a fast-paced post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course required.
• Completion of an approved Medication Aide course required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within 45 days of hire.
• Experience in long-term care or post-acute care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to assigned guests and residents.
• Follow medication-administration procedures accurately.
• Observe changes in condition and communicate to the nurse.
• Document care in the electronic system.
• Provide personal care and assist with meals as needed.
• Support transfers, ambulation, and mobility per care plans.
• Maintain clean, safe resident-care areas.
