Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a compassionate Nurse Tech for Hillcrest Millard. This part-time days position includes every other weekend and supports guests and residents with hands-on care, daily living activities, and safety in a post-acute and long-term care setting.

You will work with a dedicated care team to follow individualized care plans, communicate needs to nurses, and help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes residents' dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in Nebraska required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare, senior living, post-acute, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support.

What You’ll Do

As a Nurse Tech, you will provide quality personal care and daily living support while helping guests and residents feel safe, respected, and cared for.

You Will

• Assist guests and residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, hygiene, and other personal care needs.
• Support guests and residents with meals, dining, hydration, and daily routines.
• Help create a safe, comfortable, clean, and respectful environment.
• Follow individualized care plans, safety standards, and infection‑control procedures.
• Communicate guest or resident needs, concerns, and changes in condition to nurses and care team members.
• Assist with documentation and guest/resident support as directed.
• Partner with nurses, medication aides, therapy, and other team members to support quality care.
• Build positive relationships with guests, residents, families, and team members.
• Bring a calm, compassionate, and team‑focused approach to each shift.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• An active CNA license in the state of Nebraska.
• Experience providing personal care services in long‑term care, post‑acute care, hospital, senior living, or a similar setting preferred.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A strong focus on resident dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of care.

Education & Credentials
