Job summary

Pacific Grove is seeking a dedicated Med Tech to manage medications and assist residents in Forest Grove, Oregon. You will document medication administration, verify physician orders, and maintain MAR records while ensuring safety and dignity for each resident.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and ideally a Med Tech certification, with prior long-term care experience. The role supports evenings, weekends, and holidays in a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Med Tech certification preferred and prior long-term care experience is a plus.
• Strong organization and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and commitment to resident dignity.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Medication management, documentation, and MAR updates according to policies and state regulations.
• Order, receive, and securely store medications following community protocols.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and monitor health changes.
• Take vital signs, provide first aid/wound care as needed, and coordinate care with healthcare professionals.
