Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity.

You will administer medications, follow the Six Rights, and document accurately in MAR/TAR while monitoring residents for relief and changes in condition. You will maintain organized carts and rooms, observe for adverse reactions, and comply with infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Certified in Medication Administration.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
