Job summary

William Penn Senior Suites – Jeannette, PA is seeking a caring Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our Assisted Living team. You will safely administer medications, document observations, and monitor residents while supporting daily living activities and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate has PA Med Tech training, a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication skills. Join a family‑oriented team with growth opportunities and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Pennsylvania Med Tech training is required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with seniors or in assisted living preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist residents with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Document medication administration and resident observations.
• Monitor medication effectiveness and report changes.
• Assist residents with daily living activities as needed.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, pharmacies, residents, and families.
• Assist with new resident admissions and orientation.
• Schedule physician appointments and coordinate transportation.
• Maintain resident records and documentation.
• Encourage independence while providing compassionate care.
• Create a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
