Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Med Tech/CMA to provide compassionate medication administration and daily living support for residents. You will join a team focused on safety, comfort, and well-being, with responsibilities spanning documentation, inventory, and coordination with pharmacies.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid medication administration license or Certified Caregiver status, and a current First Aid/CPR certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license or be a Certified Caregiver.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required or ability to obtain.
• Arizona Dementia Training Certificate (8 hrs) is required or enrollment within 30 days.
• Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and storage; coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote resident independence and provide emotional support through engagement.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
