Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Arizona is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to assist residents with medication administration and daily living activities. Morning, evening, and overnight shifts are available, with weekend rotations required.

You will work in a supportive team environment to ensure residents’ safety, comfort, and well-being. Qualified candidates have at least 12 months of medication administration experience, a valid medication administration license, and First Aid/CPR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as outlined in care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate with pharmacies for re-orders.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote open communication among residents, families, and staff.
