Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents according to physician orders. You will follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents for changes while ensuring safety and dignity.

Ideal candidates hold a Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and a High School Diploma or GED, with strong documentation and communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
