Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications per physician orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents for changes. You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting dignity and quality of life for residents.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, a Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medication administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
