Job summary

Gallaher Signature Living is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to assist residents with self-administration of medications in a luxury senior living community in Covina, California. The role requires Title 22 training, reading and documenting meds, and collaborating with the Wellness team to ensure safety and dignity in daily care.

Compensation is $22.00–$23.50 per hour. The ideal candidate will have First Aid/CPR, a high school diploma, and strong attention to detail to maintain

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Title 22 medication training before assisting with medications.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to pass background check, health screening, and TB clearance as required by regulation.
• Experience as a Medication Technician, CNA, or caregiver in assisted living or residential care preferred.
• Experience in a high-end or hospitality-focused senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with self-administration of medications as permitted under Title 22.
• Follow physician orders, MARs, and community policies accurately.
• Observe, document, and report medication-related concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain secure storage, labeling, and documentation of all medications.
• Ensure medications are administered at the correct time, dosage, and route.
• Support resident independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Provide care with discretion and hospitality-driven service.
