Job summary

Fair Oaks Estates is seeking a Medication Technician to join our team, dispensing medications to residents and overseeing care and medication needs in both the Assisted Living and Memory Care Wing.

This role requires previous Medication Technician experience, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and a commitment to following all medication guidelines, with a collaborative approach to resident care.

Qualifications

• Previous Medication Technician experience required.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures.
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with resident care director on resident changes, medication updates, etc.
• Ensure Department is Title XXII compliant at all times
• Following all medication guidelines that were given in medication training
• Pull, pour, assist residents with medications
• Ensure resident care is being done per assessment and documenting
• Assist with med-room tasks
• Assist and manage resident emergencies
• Help on the floor as a caregiver when necessary
