Job summary

Oakmont Management Group's Fountaingrove Lodge is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications for residents, in accordance with nursing standards and company policies. You will provide direct personal care and work with housekeeping and maintenance to support a safe, respectful living environment.

The role favors at least 1 year of medication assistance in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, HS diploma or equivalent (LVN preferred).

Qualifications

• Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication at a RCFE.
• Based on state regulation, training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must pass background check and health screenings including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with pharmacies and physicians.
• Maintain confidential resident medication and care records.
• Ensure a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
