Qualifications

• Current Med Tech certification or Medication Aide certification in Michigan.

• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
• Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Monitor residents for medication side effects, reactions, and overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records and MARs.
• Assist with resident care tasks as needed, including ADLs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members.
• Ensure medication storage areas are organized, secure, and compliant with regulations.
