Job summary

Homestead Health Care in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to provide care to our residents. The Caregiver/MedTech will assist with activities of daily living, medications, and provide companionship and emotional support to residents.

Experience passing medications is a requirement; must pass a criminal background check and be able to lift 50 pounds. Excellent communication skills and reliable transportation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care).
• Passing medications following physicians orders.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping.
• Reporting changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
• Communicating professionally with families, support services, and coworkers.
• Complying with safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
